The key idea of this campaign was the combination of two ideas; reversal effect and uniting two scenes into one scene. In the first half, 3 people who seem like athletes are striving to their training. They prepare for their games; marathon, yacht, and cycling. At a moment, real players enter into the screen and it turns out that who seemed as the real players are actually coaches assisting players. In the last half, scenes of each side (player’s performance and partner’s support) are united into one scene and finally complete the story. It shows our core message which contains purest passion, partners role and hidden story.
Main video has been on aired on Youtube and Facebook channel from 15th July to 21th August during 2016 Rio Olympic Game period.
Record more than 40 millions views in first 3 weeks.
Without the traditional media budget, the campaign had to reply on Youtube and facebook. It should be sharable contents for a broader audience, but in the same time highly relevant for the core target group – the millinnial generation. The aim of this campaign is to make a sympathy with them, appealing Hyundai brand philosophy as a lifetime partner.
