The Campaign

Creating an explainer video showcasing the Do’s and Don’ts of Hanami, using simple illustrations that are recognizable even on tourists handheld devices. The video is available on Youtube and various social media channels.

Creative Execution

The video was produced using simple black and white illustrations so that the video will be easy to recognize even on a tourists hand-held device with a smaller screen. Widespread sharing on social media was the aim for this video, so it was promoted online on various SNS services.

The target is mostly foreigners who have an interest in visiting Japan during cherry blossom season but may not know the details of this traditions. The video is aimed to educate those with a prior interest further and simultaniously give advice on manners necessary to enjoy the flower viewing with other people around them.
