The Campaign

To maximize exposure of the project with fewer marketing fee, we marketed through China’s biggest social media platform innovatively. In the internet era, good content is the key factor to attract more viewers. So we created a video ad which can attract the viewers. This video ad looks like a movie trailer, its got awesome visual effects, the viewers are attracted by it, so they are more likely to find out more about the project.

Creative Execution

We created a magnificent video to attract viewers’ attention, and push it on WeChat news feed which is called “monent” in Jul, 2017. Through big data targeting funciton of WeChat, we push the video ad to 7.5 million potential customers, and the total investment amount was only 137,000 US dollars. The video successfully attracted people and caused a lot of people to spread it online. By the end of the campaign, the ad had over 14 million views, and the project awareness was increased greatly.

By the end of the campaign, the ad had over 14 million views. Likes, comments, and shares reached a total of 802,000. For similar properties in China, it usually takes 6-8 months to achieve marketing results like this. This campaign highly shortened the selling cycle.

The project T5 locates near the most vigorous city of China - Shenzhen. Since the price of downtown Shenzhen is very high, so people may consider to purchase the real estate around Shenzhen due to the lower price. WeChat is the biggest social media platform in China, and it has wide range of users. Its targeting function allows more refined advertising reach.So we choose WeChat as the only media to promote this project. We push the ad to WeChat users at the age from 20 to 60 who were likely to purchase real estate in and around Shenzhen. Lots of people shared this video to their friends, so more people than we expected knew this project.
