We approached this task by capturing moments from our daily lives and using them to make a film that helped audiences visualize the system of biomass energy, the technology of producing hydrogen, and life with the energy. We sought to make the design both impressive and straightforward in order to bring people closer and eliminate the complex image they may have regarding biomass energy and technology.
The film’s story depicts a day in a town with biomass energy. It shows how waste from our lives changes into biomass energy along with its extensive uses. We used friendly designs and colors for the sequence and then animated it to express the story without the use of spoken dialogue or narration. Capturing an assortment of life’s moments from a variety of different angles helps to depict that the energy exists closely to us.
Through this film, not only experts, but regular townspeople who are unaware of biomass energy, and corporations who are considering the plant, can visualize a better life with biomass energy. The film helped raise awareness about biomass energy, as well as environmental issues while enhancing the branding value of JBEC as a company, which is addressing these issues.
We took a practical approach to the target by creating the film as a tool, which JBEC can utilize as an introduction before verbal or paper pitches to their clients. This is intended to give JBEC’s clients a positive impression of the new technology and its power.
