It’s the last working day before Chinese New Year break in a lofted studio when China’s beloved godfather of Mandarin-pop, Jonathan Lee, greets his staff who are packing and ready to head home for the holiday. Inspired by this scenario, Jonathan plays a few notes on his guitar and settles into the melody of the popular traditional Chinese New Year song “Congrats! Congrats!” [????].
