St George’s aim was to show customers that when it comes to getting things done, you can’t go past the thumb, or St. George— and, with the help of your thumb you can do your banking faster. Designed to inform customers of the latest features available via the new St George everyday banking app, which gives customers unprecedented control of their financial life, right from the palm of their hand (or thumb). Delivered online, socially and on phones, the online and digital campaign spots shine a light on the thumb, a digit that is far more useful than just the good old thumbs up. Told from the point of view of everyday thumbs, the campaigns’ five films star real thumbs in a world of miniature sets, putting a humorous spin on everyday banking frustrations, which can be resolved by the new St George app.
