We conducted design of both the space and experience. Through the entire exhibition, we designed “being” animals, not reading animal encyclopedia. Overall, a sense of friendliness and reality were the missions. Pill-bug suits had well-designed hard shells to make easier for kids to know how they roll into a ball. To create a realistic jungle, forest sound to soak into the story’s world and real water to run across was prepared. Plus, this event is designed to learn the laws of nature. Not only leaning beautiful and fun facts on animals, but their real life was focused on, such as, penguins would go into shark’s mouth and lions are threatened by zebras. In order to spread our activity, photo spots with wearable animal body parts such as Butterfly, Mantis and Shellfish were prepared as well as original café menus with motif of penguins or pill bugs.
