Two very small signs sit on a sidewalk, one says ‘FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY’. The other says ‘AGAINST MARRIAGE EQUALITY’. In front of each sign is a small pile of bread. A pigeon appears and takes a piece of bread from the FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY pile. Then another pigeon arrives and takes a piece of bread. Then another. And another. They continue eating from the FOR and AGAINST piles, as a commentator calls the action, as if it’s some kind of sporting spectacle. The film finishes with a super that reads: ‘Don’t leave marriage equality to chance.’ Followed by a call to action: ‘Post your vote by October 27.’
