The film begins with supers that says the story is based on real events happening somewhere in Europe. Inside a high-end club, a performer sings and dances her heart out, lip-syncing the song “Manila Girl”. The crowd gives a standing ovation. She then goes backstage; she removes her costume and makeup. We reveal that she’s actually a man. His tablet rings. He accepts a video call from a boy, his son. In the Filipino language, the son says that he has received the money sent for school fees. The dad tells him to do well because money is hard to earn. The mom chimes in and says she’s sending him new lipstick because the shade doesn’t suit him. They laugh. The father cherishes the moment. Supers appear: “However hard the job, you’ll do anything for family.” We then end with the logo and tagline, “BDO. Together, we find ways.”
