The film begins in a dimly lit hospital room. A father is on his deathbead, strapped to a machine, with his grieving daughter by his bedside. The father mutters about the end and his daughter keeps on crying. We cut to the father as he struggles to reveal a dark secret about the daughter’s true identity. He suddenly dies in mid-sentence and the daughter is hysterical. The camera then pans back to the father who is suddenly alive again! He continues to talk about the daughter and then he dies again before revealing the secret. The camera pans to the daughter who struggles with her emotions. We see the father talking again only for the frame to go black with the supers: Undying formula films. Enough. The film ends with the Cinemalaya logo and the dates of the film festival.
