We developed a visual identity for Japan’s scope of SDG efforts, depicting the public and private sector as threads of warp and weft. The woven threads represent new possibilities through diversity, and embody SDGs’ principle; “Leaving No One Behind.” 5 posters based on the VI were displayed at the UN High Level Political Forum and at the UN Gala hosted by Japan, conveying Japan’s vision to other leaders of the world.
The “threads” were printed with a special ink that gave a 3D effect, as if it looked like it was actually woven.
