PEACE ONE DAY created an installation of the a black Christmas tree covered with black weapons from armed conflicts.
The weapons were redesigned to act as Christmas decorations. We reminded people that many areas were celebrating Christmas with war. The awareness of stopping war is powerful weapon to change darkest Christmas.
This exhibition made more than 40000000 people talk about Darkest Christmas. Tens of thousands of photos and stopping war messages spread widely on social media. The awareness of peace increased by 128% in the Christmas holiday.
