We wanted to create a new image for JAXA that appeales to students who know little to nothing about the organization.Through the influential power of design,we were able to change the perception of space development from confusing and difficult to fun and interesting.
In order to express the feeling of aerospace and visually differentiate ourselves from other organizations. We took more ”cool” and ”stylish” approach and utilized materials such as reflective silver ink and silver leaf.
The number of applicants almost doubled from previous year. The communication successfully contributed to recruiting diverse human resources that had previously not had interest in space or JAXA.
