“Underwear” is something so personal that you can’t give it to someone casually. Conversely, it could be a charming gift that shows “we are in a close relationship”. By portraying underwear as an affectionate gift only permitted between special relationships such as families, friends and couples, we appealed the “value of underwear as a gift”.
