This whimsical spot chronicles a couple's search for their ideal home. As they daydream about the possibilities, their house takes on a life of its own - and starts moving closer and closer to what they desire. The house makes its way over streets, suburbs and highways, finally settling on an ideal spot - surrounded by lush greenery. In the end, we discover that the house was carried around on the shoulders of dozens of people from Edge Prop, a property search engine. It's a story, not about finding a dream home, but finding a home that's perfect for you.
The largest imperative of the spot was to make simple human truths resonate in its surreal execution. While we wanted to take the viewer on a whimsical journey, the heart of the story was still going to be about the couple - and how their real-life wishes, dreams and conflicts shape a home that's just right for them. To do this, we knew we had to take a very real approach to how it was shot - a two-tonne moving set, props on wheels and beautiful lighting made the protagonists feel the story and bring out the realism in each moment.
