Showcasing its offering of a new technology coupled with additional spectrum, the brand used this content to show its promise of the ability to deliver 4G-like data speeds even on 3G networks. Using an analogy to highlight the current situation of mobile internet speed, the content featured, initially ambiguous characters, stuck in bad traffic (to show slow speed)till they are able to fall asleep on the wheels! Coupled with local nuances like pineapple sellers, showcasing a cricket playing characters, the content related to the locals in Sri Lanka and also drove home the idea of being frustrated with current data service available in Sri Lanka. At the end of the TVC, the highway splits into two, showing the branded cars flying off in the 'speedy lane' of the highway, highlighting the analogy of fast speed with the brand's network service.
