Due to negative social perceptions of receiving treatment for depression in Korea, there are many cases where the depression worsens from failure to seek proper treatment in the early stages. Therefore, we came up with an idea of turning a vending machine, a public facility that can be easily found in our daily lives, into a pharmacy which offers remedies for twenty types of mental symptoms. It provided a customized remedy kit inspired by artworks such as poems, movies and paintings, along with items that can make people smile. Not only did the campaign alleviate negative perceptions about mental care, but also led people to receive psychotherapy through self-depression tests included in the remedy kits.
