The work sets itself up to a live audience, along the path of a sacred mountain climb. We researched and re-wrote traditional chants to promote the idea of waste disposal as a way of collecting merits. We used these chants across various outdoor mediums and media, to drive the thought. Inspired by the Buddhist practice of collecting merits by making monetary offerings to temple tills, we then created special bins to give it visual presence and symbolism.
