Using iconic Mt.Fuji as backdrop, SkyMagic held their first live performance. This video showcased the contrast of traditional and new age technology. Comparing Mt. Fuji with the drone formations of an inverted triangle, the blaze from the torch with LED lights, the Shamisens tunes (Japanese traditional guitars) with Minimalistic music. Also, the positioning of the Shamisen players facing the drones portrays communication with one another, between human and machine, to signify the importance of coexistence between humans and technology. The audio visual extravaganza was provided by 25 quadcopters, equipped with over 16,500 LED lights. The quadcopters, LED lights, and flight swarming formations, were all automatically and simultaneously controlled by a single pilot using the digital control DMX512, accompanied by melody from the Shamisens.
