The Campaign

The Samsung S9W is television as art. Samsung have admired paintings displayed on walls for centuries, but an image on a curve instantly becomes a sculpture. The television design for the S9W gives an answer to a simple question: what is the best way to display this sculpture? Samsung truly looked at this television not as a consumer electronics product, but as a piece of fine craftsmanship. In this way, the brochure for the S9W is a direct extension of the design inspiration for the product. Meant to reflect the minimal, yet visually stimulating aesthetic of a gallery book, the brochure utilizes clean typography and striking images to create a balanced visual narrative of the television design.
