The trade stand was featured in Channel New Asia and The Straits Times as the headlines of Singapore International Water Week. -Channel News Asia: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/tenders-to-be-called-for/2948272.html -Straits Times: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/environment/2-green-plants-to-improve-waste-treatment-efficiency The Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS) Phase 2 and the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) are iconic flagship projects undertaken by PUB and NEA respectively in the arena of used water management and solid waste treatment. There was a forum that provided more insights to both projects, including co-location synergy aspects between the two facilities held during SIWW 2016 attracted an overwhelming participation from delegates partially due to the communication of value and unique design for the stand. Innovative design of the stand created an opportunity for industry players, technology providers, system integrators and academia to network and gather interest about this project.
The key target audiences are - Local government officials - Foreign dignitaries and VIPs - Local and international trade and general media - Local and international consultants, contractors, suppliers and service providers in the water, wastewater and waste industry Immersive 3D environment coupled with succinct use of cleverly crafted info-graphics and interactive media ensured that the exhibition provided sufficient project information to interest potential consultants, contractors and suppliers to bid for the projects. This encouraging healthy competition in upcoming DTSS Phase 2 and IWMF tenders. Trade visitors walked away inspired by the good work that PUB/NEA have done in ensuring a sustainable solution to support Singapore’s continued growth and meet its long term used water and solid waste management needs. The booth also served as a venue for meetings with industry leaders to provide constructive ideas and feedback to PUB and NEA on the projects.
