Over 5,000 posts with over 150K pageviews within forums talking about “Nokia apps competition with over 1,300 idea submissions which is over 60 submissions per day and 11,000+ “Like” we got for users voting (Over 500 like/day) And over 11,000 FB wall post with least 10x users-generated video were created, over 50,000 pageview in YouTube
People could do submission in our campaign site, but we extended it to partnered several popular forums as our owned channel as well for submission entry, people can just leave the comments within the forums, the posts / ideas will be submitted automatically into the apps ideas competition. Therefore, no barrier to user, forum is the submission platform! Viral videos were prepared by the popular socia media artists to demonstrate the apps ideas submission can be done by everyone, it further stimulates users to generate their own video / story to further posted on social patforms (FB / Twitter / Weibo) so as to extend the overall campaign awareness
Top of mind of HK smartphone users are iPhone and android apps, and apps is one of the core criteria for them to select Smartphone. Therefore, we created “Apps idea competition” to promote “Nokia as a solution to success”, to prompt submission for app idea with Nokia Smartphone which helps improve & inspire one’s life
