As a tribute to the Filipino youth and the country's Independence Day, Pepsi launched a limited edition cola called Pepsi Pinas (slang for Philippines). Weeks before the celebration, the brand aired this two minute spot that parodies Filipino action films from the 80's-90's. It is part of a campaign that embraces Filipino pop culture. This video was also uploaded on YouTube and in one weekend shot into the top 18 of the global Viral Video Chart with over 300,000 views.
