Brief Explanation

Integrating the shaking motion required to enjoy this Japanese-look premium green tea, the fortune-telling cat Facebook application gives daily predictions published in users’ news feed for friends to see, like, comment and click back to the application. As more predictions are given, more friends request their own predictions, triggering an ongoing viral effect. A total of 49 different lucky predictions kept people coming back day after day to find their fortune. Based on research into top search keywords, we predicted that the ‘fortunetelling’ hook would be a hit. The result? Neko cat went on to give out 1.8 million predictions.
