Chokingyo is an image character for the JA (Japan Agricultural Association) Bank. Using kigou 'Chokingyo goods' as sales promotion gifts is the focus of a sales promotion campaign，which takes place once a year. This campaign is so very popular that it has lasted throughout the past 12 years. The campaign for 2008 unfolded with consideration to the environment,using ecology goods as a theme.
