STB (Americas) wanted a banner campaign to drive traffic to their America website. We recognised that banners would not be effective without engaging the audiences. Using Consumer Generated Marketing (CGM) as a campaign activator, our idea employed existing Flickr and YouTube uploads by American travellers who have experienced Singapore, to advocate to Americans via another microsite which we also developed. A series of banners including video banners were created using the CGM as a teaser to lead Americans to the microsite for more visual experiences; ultimately engaging and encouraging them to visit the America website.
