In this radio spot we hear several descriptions of what L&P, a local soft drink, tastes like.
L&P, or Lemon and Paeroa is a local soft drink that tastes kinda like Sprite, but kinda more lemony and fizzy. So we asked people how they'd describe it. And as you'll hear from the ad, it's quite hard to pin down the exact flavour profile.
If for some reason you had 30 seconds to describe the taste of L&P you might say something like this: L&P tastes a bit like the sharpness of getting biffed in the face with a jandal but with hints of belly flopping into a fizzy ice bath on a hot summer’s day paired with that tingling feeling of dipping your big toe in the fountain of youth, with some gentle pinchings all over the tonsils by a gang of sweet lemons yeah nah but also the feeling of riding through clouds of yellow happiness on an eagle called Zest and being drowned in the squeezed tears of homesick lemons living abroad. At least that’s what kiwis said when we asked them. L&P. Refreshingly, different.
