Brief Explanation

The 45-second spot is the story of Kong the donkey – or rather the exploits of Kong the donkey. Kong won’t be fenced in and he keeps turning up in the all the worst places despite his owner’s attempts to build a Kong-proof shed. Eventually the owner realises Kong’s problem and tries a very, very different solution. With help from Mitre 10. This time, he gets the job done right.

Execution

This is a classic story of ‘man of the house’ versus pet. Fred Flintstone versus Dino or Wal Footrot battling his dog every time Jess was on heat. Roy and Kong the donkey bring this age-old battle into 2018 on a life-style block somewhere in God’s own. At the heart of this yarn is a man with pet problem and a pet with communication problems. Roy and Kong’s dilemma is one we can all relate to.
