Brief Explanation

It is a story of a girl who lives alone in her apartment. Though she phones her mom everyday to share her stories, she begins to feel lonely. And she starts to have imaginations on how her neighbors are like. After awhile, the loneliness is getting her, so she decided to invite her neighbors for break-fasting together although she never meet them. She is really excited in welcoming her guests, she prepares many meals. To her surprise, her guests do not look like what she has imagined. Yet, she knows that she is not alone anymore now.

The Brief

The apartment was actually set in a very old rundown building in Jakarta on its 5th floor and the building has no working elevator at all. The art team brought set builder team to build up interior walls and few doors, bathroom walls, painting the new built-in walls and also painting the old building walls. The elevator in the film is actually using real elevator doors on location but the open-close doors were done by post production. As the film also shows the girl imagination of her neighbors, so we need to show different looks on how she imagines each people or family behind the closed doors. Either they being middle east look, clinical look, or cat-lover grandma, all props and set are all made up by the art department team into the location.
