Brief Explanation

Bankstown Bullsharks is a short documentary about a Muslim high school girl in Western Sydney who falls in love with playing AFL football, but must first get permission from her strict father.

Execution

The brief for the campaign was simply to tell inspiring true stories around AFL. This story and characters were discovered by the director in research. The director quickly developed a relationship with the characters, and shot the film in two days.
