Holding out the theme of “Behind every great athlete is someone with equal passion,” Asia University visualized the numbers of people supporting, featuring the managers of school club activities. The film showed not only the importance in people supporting, but the “true hospitality mind” in which the university is ready to educate, “to think and act earnestly as if you are the athlete themselves.”
The film was covered in news and trend sites, weblogs, and thousands of tweets and posts were shared online. 300 thousand views on YouTube within 1 week from 63 different countries, and increasing the numbers day by day. Also it was introduced in TV news program as the “Film-To-See.” On the first campus tour, though raining hard, the attendees scored 150% that of previous year, which anticipates the growth in examinees in the year 2016.
This film was made for the campaign "Behind Every Great Athlete" of Asia University to increase the number of students’ application of a new “Sports Management” course starting in 2016. The Sports Management Course aims to provide a curriculum for those who support athletes and sports lovers. This course has been established in preparation for the year 2020, when the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo and demand for these human resources will increase. In a competition the athletes are always at the centre of attention. However, there is an enormous group of people supporting every athlete. To express the hospitality and service of which the university students will be trained for, Asia University created a film to show the efforts of people supporting, featuring the managers of school club activities.
