The concept of experiential marketing got introduced and detailed out for the first time in Bangladesh. 50 potential customers were offered an exclusive first hand experience with the phone. The pre-bookers got their phones delivered on April 14, first day of Bangla New Year to connect it more locally. Moreover, two next level reviews were done to highlight the coolest features of the phones. For strengthening the local presence, Samsung tied up with Mushfiqur Rahim, Test Captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team.

The pre-booking was on board for 2 weeks only and 2000 pre-bookings were done. The number is really splendid considering the perspective of Bangladesh. Sales target was fulfilled way ahead of the time. The videos associated received over 200,000 views online which is a landmark for core product centric videos in Bangladesh. The launch program was live streamed and it has almost 1200 views turning it to be a benchmark for others to follow.
