GPS Chip+Community SNS Network+Mobile APP = 2/7 care for Alzheimer’s patients Launching a promotional campaign at the online shop of Soargon: Customers with family members suffering from Alzheimer’s can get a pair of GPS-Chip-inserted shoes free.The shoes are inserted with GPS chips which pair up with a mobile APP to set the radius of travel range. A SNS searching platform would also be established based on geographic location of the set community.Once the elderly excess the pre-set travel range, distress signals would be generated to paired mobile APP and SNS platform, forming an extensive GPS-SNS search-and-rescue network.
The creative execution was relevant to the product because the GPS technology is relevant to the client(shoes). More than 5,000 nursing homes and elderly community have encouraged patients’ families developing their community SNS searching networks to bring the lost elderly home .
China has the world’s highest number of Alzheimer’s patients. Of the 6 million affected,over 600,000 individuals with Alzheimer’s are displaced.Danger happens at the supposed safest moment. Patients usually get lost without the knowledge of family members, or when it’s too late. The objective of the campaign was to create a CSR campaign to help the Alzheimer’s patients while also elevating customers’ brand preference.Through a CSR initiative,Soargon, a local shoe factory, wanted to help the Alzheimer’s patients while also elevating customers’ brand preference?
