Brief Explanation

English Synopsis/Background Information The film revolves around a dog talking about his heart-rending love-hate relationship with his old master, Feroze. Initially, you feel for the playful dog, trapped in an insipid life, as he complaints about Feroze's boring, irritating demeanour. But as he cribs, suddenly, his love for Feroze takes over. He admits that deep down Feroze loves him, and in the absence of his son (staying abroad), he is his sole companion. Overcome with emotion the dog dashes back to be with Feroze. That's when we see Feroze first time. And realise he is blind. Voiceover: He (dog) can give him company. But you can give him eyes. -------------------------------------------------- The dog belongs to an old Parsi (Members of Zoroastrian Community.) Hence, his narration reflects peculiar Parsi behaviour. For instance, Parsis are obsessed with cleaning their cars. (Hence the Dog says, 'He keeps me clean as if I were his car') The dog also uses a cuss word in the film (beeped), that is typical Parsi. ---------------------------------------------------- Meaning of local words: 'Buddha' Old Man 'Raspberry' - Favorite Parsi Drink 'Salli-Boti' 'A Parsi Chicken recipe' 'Bawaji'- Colloquial way of referring to a Parsi man. 'Senti' Colloquial word for sentimental (Emotional)
