Brief Explanation

Since the great earthquake that took away countless number of lives, feelings of gratefulness towards their families and those surrounding them are growing among the Japanese. These feelings of gratefulness roots back to Ise Jinguu, the most revered shrine in Japan. People from old days visited this Shrine to pray to God and to show feelings of appreciation for life. Combining this feeling of gratitude with trip, we have come up with an idea of filming a documentary about delivering letters, written by the campaign participants, to those whom they love by surprise during a trip to Ise. There is an untold story in every life. We framed out beautiful dramas through these heartfelt letters, the moments when feelings of appreciation thoroughly reach to the hearts of the recipients, and the stories behind writing these letters.
