If you're injured or ill you can't work. And if you can't work there are consequences. ‘Without an income’ consequences. Like having to move back in with your Mum to save money. In keeping with the personality of the AAMI brand, this dramatically shot spot gives the dry subject of Income Protection a light-hearted twist that cuts through the clutter of a conservative and overly rational category. A tiny moment of awkwardness is heightened to a new level through bold direction and use of music. The consequences of being without an income are awful, and this spot makes them awfully funny.
