EOS 70D enabled with Canon’s unique and innovative auto-focus technology, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, presents much better pictures than existing cameras and is especially superior at filming. So, the idea was to show its technical prowess compared to other cameras with the Auto Focus Function, its core selling point, and deliver Canon’s image as an innovative industry leader with top-notch technology. The most effective way to showcase the auto-focus function which enables EOS 70D to produce excellent videos as well as photos was to present the output of EOS 70D itself. We came up with an idea of Glass Harp, which is a little unfamiliar instrument for the general public, and filmed an actual performance with a 70D. By doing so, we could show how 70D captures the falling water drops and smoothly follows the performer’s quick fingers with the help of its innovative auto-focus function.
