Brief Explanation

The all-new Nissan JUKE was one of the most highly anticipated launches for Nissan Australia in 2013. It was the first time in over 15 years that they had a youth orientated vehicle offering. But the JUKE didn’t fit within any of the existing vehicle categories. Was it a hatch? A small SUV? Or a combination of both? Nissan needed to get the vehicle on the radar of males between the age of 22 and 30 without alienating females. The JUKE is small and it’s engine turbo-charged. It has a unique style and plenty of attitude. So the launch TVC focused on the fact that “bad asses come in small packages”. It portrays short-statured historical figures with plenty of attitude; Genghis Kahn, Alexander The Great, Napoleon, and now the Nissan JUKE.
