Brief Explanation

The London 2012 Olympic Games would be LIVE on YouTube throughout SEA. This meant that, as long as people had an Internet connected device, they had the Olympics Games – wherever they were. ‘Riverwash’ came from a real-life observation about the Indian lifestyle. Heading down to Dhoby Ghauts to do the laundry in the river is a social event. So, while the Olympics are on, Indians would need to devise a way to see them while doing the washing up. Instead of using a popular sport, we thought the film should focus on how people always learn and fall in love with more sports – in this case, the hammer throw.
