The challenge: spread awareness for and drive trial of KFC Krushers, a snack-time drink for teenagers. We launched The Sweet Escape, a promo encouraging teens to make their ultimate break-time escape with KFC Krushers. Their task: recreate a destination abroad by posing with Krushers in a local spot that uncannily resembled it, then upload the photo on our website. The ones with the sweetest entry would win a trip to their chosen destination. Over 4,000 participants joined; brand exposure on the web reached people 47,470518 times; earned media value rose 900% above the budget; sales were 154% versus pre-campaign period.
