Tata DOCOMO realized that Telecom Blogs had been increasingly becoming a significant and powerful platform where opinions are formed about telcos. The brief was to effectively leverage telecom blogs and derive a competitive advantage. We identified telecomtalk.info, the largest telecom blog for this initiative. We embedded an Online Live Chat service on every page of the blog that allowed visitors to connect directly with the customer care team at Tata DOCOMO for any query that they may have. Consumers got real time response to any telecom query; Tata DOCOMO got access to a qualified audience converting many into customers.
