Tata DOCOMO became the first private telco to launch 3G in India. The brief was to be seen as the pioneers of 3G in India. Tata DOCOMO decided to play a leadership role by educating, informing and assisting consumers with 3G. A website 3GLife.com was created, a single point repository of all knowledge and FAQ’s on 3G with a community supported forum. The website featured a Live stream of all conversations around 3G from all platforms – Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and over 200,000 Blogs and forums. Users could filter the stream by type of conversation, the source or search.
