Wrigley’s 5 Gum needed an idea to engage their Facebook fans and also introduce the soon-to-be-released Limited Edition 5 Gum Tin. However, their net-savvy teenage audience doesn’t care for traditional promos. They just want to be the first to discover something cool. So we created Street Raid: a hunt within a unique online environment incorporating both social media capabilities and Google Street View technology. This gave our audience the sense of discovery they crave, and the ability to share their success. By the end, over 6,000 fans had participated and 5 Gum had gained over 11,000 new Facebook fans.
