The use of deodorant is restricted mainly to summer and after sports. Yet, people are extremely conscious about their image. They may feel ‘embarrassed’ if they are commented to have foul smell. To raise awareness on the need to use deodorant, we created a new social label of "Smelly Guys" & "Smelly Girls", and a "Rexona Police" platform through which "smelly people" would be reported, and asked to go through an interactive investigation our campaign website rich in videos. The campaign leveraged strongly on consumers' network on Facebook, and was also supported by viral video, social media, and online ad.
