● Challenge: Yazaki is a Japanese brand active in China for several years. Yazaki aims to strengthen its brand appeal locally, in addition to its already-established international edge. ● Objective: To promote local branding of Yazaki in China, towards Chinese customer. ● Strategy: Turn Yazaki's own Chinese employees into a personal and innovative spokespersons by using the power of digital augmented reality. In a game-like entertaining way, when the life-size wall photos of various employees in the lobby are scanned with smartphones, the featured he or she steps forward and talk about their department at Yazaki, as videos in the screen. ● Outcome: The lobby space is memorable as well as it serves as an informant, among the new and potential business customers of the company.
The target audience is the new and potential customers who visits Yazaki Office every day. And the objective of the campaign is to promote local branding of Yazaki in China, towards Chinese customer audience.

Location is Yazaki Company Lobby, and the campaign began in June 2011 and is an ongoingeffort. It is renewed with new employees being featured. (Please see video).
