There are over 19,000+ OYO’s; basically in every corner of India. OYO has made stepping out that easier. But with COVID, travel got heavily impacted. Amidst the anxiety and chaos, people needed a safe place to quarantine, conduct business, without infecting their loved ones at home. They needed a second place, a second home. We wanted to offer safe places of stay for our customers so when the vaccination drives started, OYO moved fast to drive vaccination amongst its hotel staff. Every OYO next door in the neighbourhood (with vaccinated staff) was given the “VaccinAid” tag on the OYO app. We made it easier for customers to find and book a ‘Vaccinaid OYO’ — right in their neighbourhood, or wherever else they needed it. The OYO next door became the safest place to be. A safe space next to home for everything that needed to be done, outside the home.
