Humans need to be more sensitive to personal hygiene than ever before. According to one survey on restroom use, 48% opened the door with their foot, 39% closed the door with their elbow, and 64% of people said they did not want to touch anywhere when using the restroom. Hi Toilet is the world's first contactless toilet. In order to take the existing image of the hygenic Japanese public restrooms to the next stage, we developed a hands free toilet that can be fully operated using your voice.
A voice-activated experience that is 100% hands free. It is a public installation that was designed to be universally accessible both as a physical and interactive experience. The final design was completed through repeated trial and error of training the AI and positioning the mics to create a truly user-friendly experience. The spherical design replaces the air in the room after each use to create a new benchmark in ventilation engineering. By combining the contactless experiential design with the architectural design with clean air in mind, we created a public restroom that meets the needs of today.
