Write a short summary of what happens in the film.

The Pokémon Ryuosen (lit. The Pokémon Dragon King Battle) is a tournament to determine the champion in the Pokémon battle in Japan. As the opening act of the tournament, we showed an original performance inspired by the Noh Theater, where the tournament was held. For the first time in history, Pokémon and the oldest surviving form of Japanese theater, Noh, were fused together. Noh actor and Japanese intangible cultural asset, Reijiro Tsumura, was appointed as the performer. The story consisted of four parts: "The Appearance of the Dragon," "The Young Warriors," "Blessings and Encouragements," and "The Call to Battle.” We created a CG animation show of the dragon-type Pokémon Eternatus to accompany Mr. Tsumura's dance and storytelling. Cultural / Context information for the jury

Noh is a major form of classical Japanese performance art. It is a song and dance drama consisting of chanting and dancing, and is similar to a musical. Noh plays often portray gods, ghosts, spirits, and other unworldly beings, and emphasize storytelling. The Noh Theater is a venue dedicated to the performance of Noh.

Tell the jury about the production design / art direction.

We asked the Noh actor himself to write the song lyrics to congratulate and encourage the players participating in the Pokémon Ryuosen (lit. The Pokémon Dragon King Battle). He also created completely original choreography and music for communicating this message. The Pokémon Eternatus, which is the symbol of this tournament, was created with blue and red linear particles. In the beginning, the red and blue particles represent the two players competing against each other. In the latter half, the dragon materializes and dances together with the Noh actor.
