This film is a powerful message to all the naysayers faced by paralympians. The film’s voice over runs strong with the taunts they hear and their response in return to them, while the visuals show the determination, will and strength behind each paralympian. The struggle each of them face with their own disabilities is shown with no tenderness. It is unapologetic and bold showing the paralympians standing up for themselves and not begging for any sympathy. These are the paralympians that represent our country in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and do us proud while not getting the recognition they deserve.
Each single paralympian shown in this film is constantly fighting their own battles. Battles that we as a society dump on them. Each individual seen in this film has fought hard against these battles to reach where they have today and they are exactly the kind of people that need to be celebrated. Disabilities don’t define people and they are here to prove everyone that nothing can stop them.
