The film highlights the prejudice little girls face in fulfilling their dreams. The difficulty and social stigma that a female sport player has to face before finding their success. This story talks about the taunts and ridicules faced by a female shooter who fights it and makes her way to represent the country at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. This fight is against the reluctance her family members, peers, competition, society as a whole placed on her. A fight she fought hard where she successfully managed to proved them all wrong.
Its interesting to note the framing in this film. While the protagonist is seen on the left of frame at the time of her first point of conflict, after her consumption shot she is always seen on the right of frame. The flip almost portrays how her approach has changed. She is not just a sweet, soft spoken girl, her actions will speak for her instead. Placing her on the right of the frame with the naysayers far behind and the foreground covered with her gun in hand, it is powerful imagery. Visually it sets the tone of her determination and eagerness to prove all those behind her wrong.
